Press forward

Carter and I went to try out a gym in Bozeman and on our way afterward were hit Friday morning by someone who, unfortunately, didn't see a red light. We both turned out okay with just a few bumps and bruises and a few sore muscles and everyone walked away from the accident. Along with a new place to live and a new job at Oracle we are now in the market for a new car. Our lives are being remodeled completely, but we have faith that everything will turn out how it's supposed to. We are just grateful that everyone was okay and for all the help and support that are friends and family showed us. We are definitely counting our blessings.

Carter-ism

Michael was reading the Ensign to Carter tonight before scripture study and bedtime. The article prompted, "What do you say when people ask you why you don't drink coffee or tea?" Carter pipes up with a confident tone, "Chocolate milk!" Too cute not to remember <3

2014

This boy LOVES to be outside. His favorite activities are "painting" with water, chalk, drawing with sticks in the dirt, and throwing balls.

Michael and Cortley walked in April's graduation. We are so proud of them and all they have accomplished! This is another of Carter's favorites: high fives.

He's learning his ABC's. A version he likes to sing is "A B C Audrey B O E!"

Pomegranate Popsicle? Yes please!

Taking some down time with Daddy after the semester ended.

He is still talking about "Buddy, Gramma Rip, and PJ." Fun times!

Our sweet neighbors drew a picture for Carter of one of his favorite movies.

He is a pro when it comes to drinking from a cup. Also, he likes his high chair again and is now fond of sandwiches.

Every night he asks to read the "everywhere book". Goodnight Moon is definitely his preference lately.

In our ward's pinewood derby our minion machine took 5th of about 30 cars. Michael built it the afternoon of the race and we painted it an hour before. Not bad for throwing it together.

Matching red ties!

Puddle jumping

Carter will play with his beans for hours if I let him. He is a fan of pouring, scooping, and spilling the beans on the towel.

He now knows all his colors and will stack and sort his Legos accordingly. He can also recognize 1-5, 8, and 0. We are working on counting :)

Bananas and tractors. His favorite combo.

Papa J is the best buddy :)

He is such a good reader and loves the scriptures. He can say prayers (with some assistance) and his favorite nursery song is "popcorn popping"

Together Again

We had such a fun visit from the lady Romrells and Nathan :) The weather was beautiful! PS we saw this headless horseman wandering the streets of Rexburg Saturday and Carter was pretty awestruck. The horse whinnied at us which made his day.
